Variables
Text placeholders you can use in any field.
Write a variable in curly braces, such as {user.mention}. The { } button next to a field lists the ones available there. Unknown variables stay visible in test runs so typos are easy to spot.
{user.id}- ID of the member who triggered the workflow
{user.name}- Display name
{user.username}- Unique username
{user.mention}- Mentions the member
{user.avatar}- Avatar URL
{server.id}- Server ID
{server.name}- Server name
{server.memberCount}- Member count
{now}- Current time (ISO 8601)
{channel.id}- Channel ID
{channel.mention}- Mentions the channel
{option.member}- Value of the "member" option
{random.100}- A random whole number from 1 to 100 (any maximum works)
{random.5_50}- A random whole number from 5 to 50
{time.unix}- Current time in seconds; use <t:{time.unix}:R> for a Discord timestamp
{time.date}- Today, as YYYY-MM-DD (UTC)
{error.message}- Error text, inside an error path
Also available where they apply: {message.content}, {reaction.emoji}, {interaction.values} (menu choices), {modal.answer_id} (form answers), {var.name} (workflow variables), {var.response.field} (a field from a JSON HTTP response), and {store.name} (saved variables).
