Privacy policy

This policy describes the g0i AI Calculator software supplied through G0i Studio. It does not cover other sites linked from this calculator.

Data needed to use the calculator

No account, name, email address, payment details, location permission, or marketing profile is required. Offline calculations run in your browser. Avoid entering sensitive personal information or information about others that you are not entitled to process.

Optional history and device storage

History is kept in page memory for the current session. If you choose Save history, up to 50 calculation inputs, results and explanations are stored on this browser until cleared or overwritten by newer entries. Anyone with access to this browser profile may be able to read them. Exported files are under your control.

AI requests

When you choose AI mode and enable the AI request checkbox, the text needed for interpretation is sent to the calculator server and its configured AI provider through g0i.ai. AI interpretation is hosted; the selected question leaves your device only when AI is requested and allowed. See G0i AI privacy policy. The calculator server does not intentionally save prompt bodies or calculation history. AI providers and hosting infrastructure may maintain their own logs under their policies.

Currency updates and Office integration

Currency updates are disabled until you opt in. ExchangeRate-API then receives your IP address and standard connection metadata, not your calculation text. Rates and their source/date are stored on your device. Updates and refreshes contact its servers, potentially outside your country. See the provider's published terms.

Office.js loads from Microsoft only in an Office task pane after you enable that integration and reload. Microsoft receives connection metadata. Selected document content is read only when you click Read selected Office text; result insertion occurs only when requested. See Microsoft's privacy statement.

Browser extension

The extension examines selected webpage text locally to recognize calculations. It avoids text typed into input fields and editable elements. A context-menu selection may be stored temporarily to open the calculator; it is removed after being loaded. Remove the extension or limit its site access in your browser to stop this behavior. Currency requests use the same opt-in preference.

Tracking, retention, and control

This version contains no advertising pixels, analytics scripts, fingerprinting code, social widgets, or embedded video. It does not sell or share personal information for behavioral advertising. Request-rate counters contain timestamps, stay in server memory for the rolling window, and reset on restart. Infrastructure outside this source package may have separate connection logs.

You can reject optional features, withdraw them at any time, clear saved data, or export history in Privacy settings. Withdrawal stops future optional processing; it cannot recall data already transmitted. Preferences are retained until reset; optional cached rates are replaced on update or deleted when disabled. Browser site-data controls also remove storage. Clearing browser data does not delete files you exported or another provider's records.

Regional rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict personal data, object to processing, receive portable data, withdraw consent, and complain to a supervisory authority. Optional features use your permission; processing needed to deliver a request and protect the service must have an applicable lawful basis. Your statutory rights are not waived by using this calculator. This software is not designed to collect children's personal data.
